We/they could run a tournament or similar event. The key factor for raising funds would be volunteers and donations (I.E. lending some portable baskets, have some people from the church provide a small lunch for some extra cash, the club could sell some products on-site with a portion of the profit going to the course, etc.), we could even do a raffle for some prizes. I'm not against any of these ideas to support our own course projects either. In fact, I would like to see more fund raisers for our own projects in the future. Maybe we could include this as a group in the club who actively persue new ways to get some dough.
This is a PPFDC project but at the same time its reaching out to other golfers in our neighboring community. I'd love to see some fund raising events, anything listed would be great. I personally don't have the time with my work load to schedule any such activities at a set date. Our company is having it's best year since 86

I've tried, with the help of others, to raise capital from new member sales and we have done reasonably well. If you'd like to form a fund raising group I'd help to support you as much as I can. I'd also planned on taking a group up to WP to try and find some local sponsorship there. Was thinking about the last weekend of Aug. Bottom line is the more capital we can get together the more we can accomplish which helps all of us and the sport.
On another note I have received the digital images of the property. If you would like to see the area (9 holes will be about it perhaps multiple tee pads to make 18?) it will be posted in the members area later this week / weekend.
If you don't have the time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it again?
