New Vandalism at Sakuna Pines

During the late evening of Saturday, April 21 2012, somebody must have taken some power tools and cut the posts of baskets #16 and #17. In addition, the basked on hole #1 was hit by a gun-shot at the top rim, resulting in a rather significant dent. We are offering $100.- for information leading to the conviction of whoever can't stay away from this kind of vandalism.

Task Group on New Courses

We had a good initial meeting with some of the officials from the Colorado Springs City government to go over some options regarding new courses in Colorado Springs. Overall, this looks like a very good opportunity, to get - hopefully - 5 new courses installed over the course of the next 3 years. Nick Kittle is spearheading the logistics on the side of the city of COS and we formed a task group headed by Don Labor to get throug the initial planning phase. So far, the task group consists of Don Labor, Willis Fuchs, Tim Heenan, Jimmy Coonradt Alan "disczilla" Corbin and we hope to have at least two additional courses done before the end of this year.
