About Us
Welcome to the Southern Colorado Chapter Payroll Association! The Southern Colorado Chapter of the American Payroll Association is a non-profit organization which supports the people in our area who work in the payroll profession. Our goal is to offer education and networking opportunities for our members. This is a great place to meet others in the Payroll Profession! One focus for 2017 is EDUCATION for our members. We strive to offer interesting and timely topics for discussion at our monthly meetings. With all the changes that are happening at the legislative level, it is more important than ever for payroll professionals to stay current! If you are a presenter with a topic we would be interested in, please contact our President, Don Reilly . We began offering a CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) Study Group again in 2016. Another study group is planned for the summer 2017. If there is sufficient interest, we will also offer a FPC Study Group. Please contact Jason Gordon (see email below) if you are interested. You can also check out what our neighbors up north in the Denver Chapter have to offer in the way of Study Groups at their website; www.denverapa.org. We support several Community Outreach programs throughout the year; we collected school supplies for The Springs Rescue Mission in the fall and donated much needed supplies to Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care around the holidays.
